Parents/carers are responsible for the safety of their children on the journey to and from school.
In Reception and KS1 children must be collected from school by their parents/carers or a person nominated by them. Please notify the class teacher or school office if someone we do not know will be collecting your child.
We expect children to arrive at school on time and be collected on time.
If your child is absent from school, you must telephone the School Office on (01278 683267) on each day of absence from 8.30am and provide a reason. If we receive no confirmation of the reason, you will receive first of all a Parentmail message, and then a follow up phone call home. If we are unable to get hold of you by 11am, the Designated Safeguarding Lead will be advised and may carry out a Safeguarding Welfare visit. If we do not receive a reason for your child’s absence, it will be marked as unauthorised.
